The counting sample is definitely not from Mercury Rising. The boy in the film does not even count up to 9--if I remember correctly, he stops at 5 or 6. The intonation and pacing of his voice doesn't fit with the sample either. And MDG has stated that the sample is a numbers station recording made by Sean Booth.
