&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;The counting sample is definitely not from Mercury Rising. The boy in the film does not even count up to 9--if I remember correctly, he stops at 5 or 6. The intonation and pacing of his voice doesn't fit with the sample either. And MDG has stated that the sample is a numbers station recording made by Sean Booth.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
