• The title is a reference to the Beatles song "Helter Skelter". This is also the name that Charles Manson gave to his philosophy; he apparently got the idea that the Beatles song promoted race war, whereas it is just the name given in the UK to a playground slide which spirals round as it comes down. The spiral connection occurs again in Focus On The Spiral. [DC]
