Boards of Canada are an electronic music group most commonly said to belong to the genre called IDM. The band is fronted by Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin Sandison. They were both born in Scotland and currently reside there as well, working out of their cryptic Hexagon Sun Studio. Although, the brothers have lived in several other countries for various periods of time including their namesake, Canada.
