• The collective includes both Mike and Marcus Sandison.
  • They produce work in many mediums, primarily audio and video, as mentioned in interviews.
  • These tend to be exhibited at RedMoon parties.
  • Peter Iain Campbell and Goderich are presumably members.
• "Turquoise Hexagon Sun" on Music has the Right to Children is an obvious reference to the collective.

• Membership:
  • Christopher Horne may be an ex-member.
  • Frazer Clarke may be a member, or an ex-member.
  • Membership may be a somewhat loose concept.
  • On the old Boards of Canada website, Kelly, PB, Amo, PIC, Crofter, Goderich, Rubene, DW, DB, Orphel, Ketchler, Deni, BoC and Hexagon Sun are credited for creating and maintaining it, but it is unknown who some of these people are and if they're in Hexagon Sun to begin with.

  • The somewhat constant background voice is similar in accent and intonation to that on Turquoise Hexagon Sun.
