"The Process" is the sixteenth track on Boards of Canada's fifth studio album, Inferno.

Comments

  • "The Process" most likely refers to The Process Church of the Final Judgment, which was a brief controversial religious group that was established in 1966 and disappeared sometime in the mid-to-late 1970s. The Process was the title of the group's self-titled magazine.
  • Additionally, the title could also refer to Process theology, which is a philosophical-theological movement inspired by mathematician Alfred North Whitehead, which claims that God is constantly evolving and deeply connected with the universe, which contradicts traditional theism, which views God, as unchanging and all powerful.
