Samples / Lyrics[edit]
- Transcription of the 37sec reversed sample used 2:36 and 6:45 of this track:
- Voice 1: Organizers say their next step will be building coalitions, drafting the initiative, and planning a petition drive to get the issue on the ballot. The Massachusetts activists say they know what they want and they know they don't trust their legislators to deliver it. Such a direct democracy is typical of initiative states but in both Massachusetts and Connecticut public financing is seen as the most comprehensive solution to an election system dominated by fundraising. Democrats and Republicans appear to share this view.
- Voice 2: I'm a capitalist, I mean, I have my own businesses.
- Voice 1: Dr (Phillip Korman? Phil McCormick?) is a (physician and inventor?) from Carlisle, Massachusetts.
