"Blood In The Labyrinth" is the twelfth track on Boards of Canada's fifth studio album, Inferno.

Comments

• The ending of the track is highly reminiscent of the ending of "Collapse" from Tomorrow's Harvest.

Samples / Lyrics

• From 2:10, interviews with rehabilitated PCP (angel dust) addicts from the 1979 anti-drug documentary "Angel Death".^[1]

Quite often I found myself being pretty violent.
Wanna get it out of you, just wanna fight.
Just the least thing would really set me off.
I don't know why but we got in a fight, we were throwing lamps.

I got out of the swimming pool and I watched her.
Even when she was at the bottom,
I said 'oh we're bad, now we're doing something', you know.
And when I finally did dive in and get her, she was already dead.
And um, after that I just ran off screaming.
