Comments[edit]
- Golden spiral: start with a rectangle whose length and breadth are in the golden ratio (about 1.618:1). Remove a square from it, and it leaves a smaller rectangle of the same shape. Repeat this process. You can then draw a logarithmic spiral called the "golden spiral". The center of the spiral is sometimes called "the eye of God". [DC]
- When discussing dynamical systems in mathematics, a "spiral" is also often called a "focus". When drawn on a phase plane, this appears as an infinite asymptotal spiral, an example of which is mentioned above. This probably has relevence to this track title, considering the other mathematical themes in this album. [Thatch]
