E.H.X., Electronic Audio Artform in The Capital was a website run by The Cosmic Crofter covering the electronic music scene in Edinburgh, Scotland. The site also covered a number of up-and-coming Scotland electronic acts. It is most well known for hosting the first semi-official Boards of Canada website.

The web site was founded sometime in the autumn of 1996. The last known update was made on October 21, 1999 and site was last known to be online on March 09, 2000. [1]

While no longer active, the page can be accessed via Internet Archive.

Boards of Canada site

Initially, the Boards of Canada page was simply one of many, reflected by its URL:

http://www.ednet.co.uk/~ehx/artists/canada.htm

However, as the popularity of the band grew, the page was moved to its own section. The official site relaunch occurred on September 20, 1999, with the new URL:

http://www.ednet.co.uk/~ehx/boc
