Comments

• It is presumed that the name refers to the M9 motorway in Scotland.
• Possibly an abbreviation for "Method 9 Word Clearing"; see M1 through M9 in this glossary, especially M3 and M4. [DC]
• The version on early rips of Boc Maxima has an inexplicable fadein applied, however the natural intro of the track is restored unedited on the 2026 samamdj rip.

Trivia

• M9 is the notation for a dominant 9th interval of the kind occurring in extended Tertian Chords. [Miikael N]
