"The Process" most likely refers to The Process Church of the Final Judgment, which was a brief controversial religious group that was established in 1966 and disappeared sometime in the mid-to-late 1970s. The Process was the title of the group's self-titled magazine.
Samples / Lyrics
The track contains lyrics that seem to be spoken by a synthetic female voice. From what can be heard, they seem to be nonsensical strings of babble, such as "we noticed the [or 'noticeably'] acquired although they were refreshingly piped and" and "between various Phoenician Bishops, it should be vastly subducted [or 'seductive']."
At 0:12, the track contains a sample of the Russian shortwave radio station UVB-76, recorded on February 21st, 2006.[1] Known more widely as "The Buzzer", its broadcast consists of a repeating buzzing sound, which reserves the frequency. This buzzing is occasionally interrupted by short strings of numbers and text, like the one sampled on the track, which are presumed to be codes intended for military and/or intelligence purposes. This also appears to have been sampled on the VHS tapes mailed to fans prior to the release of Inferno.
