one very important thought
  • It would be wise to remember that the same people who would stop you from listening to Boards of Canada may be back next year to complain about a book or even a tv program. If you can be told what you can see or read then it follows that you can be told what to say or think. Defend your constitutionally protected rights, no one else will do it for you. sopastrike.com

The Wikipedia page "List of samples used by Boards of Canada" has been deleted--perhaps someone could create a sample list on Bocwiki and link to that instead?

I know in principle that artists who have sampled music (and in particular sampled music without clearance) are usually opposed to listing samples, which may account for the deletion of that wiki page. We have, however, accounted for known samples on each of the individual track pages. --Thedisavowed 05:29, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
