Onanon is the monniker of Jasper Wiegers. He's close with Warp artists Plaid since the early days of Black Dog Productions. Jasper follows Boards of Canada since 1996. He shared multiple pictures, taken during BoC's live performance at Warp10 at the Truman Brewery London, on November 5th 1999. Respecting Boards of Canada's wishes, he won't share the hi-resolution pictures.

Onanon started dj-ing in 1984 on campsites during the summers. From 1991 to 1999 he wrote for different Dutch music magazines such as BG and Update. A bunch of exclusive dj mixes were available at Dutch national broadcaster VPRO 3voor12. His recordlabel Prospect Recordings is asleep since 2005.

Onanon focuses his energy to present quality electronic(a) talent as well as visual artists in a proper, honest and pure form. Setting up small tours (Phreakz!?) and gigs since 1998, with artists/friends like Plaid, Bogdan Raczynski, Funckarma, Aleksi Perälä, Arovane, Jamie Lidell and many others, he has given serious input for Electronic music/arts outside of Amsterdam and Utrecht at different venues in the Netherlands.

Onanon still performs as a dj. Mostly at underground events, where he feels comfortable and valued.
