Autechre are an electronic music duo from Sheffield, who are often categorized with Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Luke Vibert, Boards of Canada and others as being key artists within the (rather fuzzily defined) IDM genre.
Facts
- Are also signed to Warp Records.
- Instrumental in the founding of the label SKAM.
- It was on this label that Boards of Canada would release their first widely distributed EP, Hi Scores.
