Comments[edit]
- This track's title is very similar to "Iced Cooly Beatnik" from Old Tunes Vol. 2.
Samples / Lyrics[edit]
- A drum loop with a distinctive electronic closed hi-hat (heard prominently at 1:41 and 1:56) may also be used in "Seeya Later" and "Smokes Quantity".[1]
Trivia[edit]
- [ianlanterman] for the observation that a "cooly" (French "coulee") is a geographical feature common in the Alberta area (there is a Devil's Coulee, an East Coulee, and others, in Alberta). It is a kind of arroyo or gully, so the title might refer to it becoming frozen in winter. Other possibilities: [DC] is fairly sure that a cooly is a sort of drink; hence, a cooly with ice in it, though this is not confirmed.
