Onanon is the monniker of Jasper Wiegers. He closely follows Boards of Canada since 1996. He shared multiple pictures through Discogs, taken during BoC's live performance at Warp10 at the Truman Brewery London, on November 5th 1999. (Respecting Boards of Canada's wishes, he won't share the hi-resolution pictures.)

From 1991 to 1999 Onanon contributed interviews and reviews for different Dutch music magazines such as Bassic Groove and Update Magazine. A bunch of (exclusive) dj mixes were available at Dutch national broadcaster VPRO 3voor12.

From 1998 Onanon organized events in the Netherlands (Phreakz!?, Distronics and other organisations), promoting artists from different high quality electronic music labels including Warp, Rephlex, Skam and others. (Being closely in touch with Warp's Plaid since Black Dog Productions.) His recordlabel Prospect Recordings is asleep since 2005.

Onanon is dj-ing since 1984 and presents a wide range of (electronic) styles. Nowadays you'll mostly find him playing at 'underground' events, where he feels comfortable and valued.
