"Wildlife Analysis" is the first track on Boards of Canada's debut album, Music Has the Right to Children. It is also the first track on Boc Maxima.

Comments

• Boards of Canada cite the films of the National Film Boards of Canada as a big influence on them when they were younger, musically, and in other ways. Perhaps this explains the love of and respect for nature that seems to come across in the music, and the interest in native American people and their way of life. For example, see the comments on "Hooper Bay", "Chinook", "Pete Standing Alone" and "Kaini Industries" in Music Has the Right to Children.

Samples / Lyrics

• Throughout the song, the last four seconds of the theme song of Sesame Street's Alphaquest slowed down by ~15.86 semitones is looped.

Trivia

• The song was used in series 2, episode 6 of the UK radio drama Blue Jam.
