  • This moniker s probably taken from H. Linton, specifically Henry Linton (1815–1899), was a prominent 19th-century English engraver and illustrator. He is best known for his contributions to book and magazine illustrations, particularly during the Victorian era. Linton was a wood engraver, meaning he specialized in creating images by carving into wood blocks that were then used to print illustrations.
