In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country is an EP by Boards of Canada. Its release on 17 November 2000, was in between Music Has the Right to Children and Geogaddi, respectively. Encompassing four tracks, this album dabbles further into the love of the great outdoors shared by the brothers and the Branch Davidians, a sect often featured in Michael and Marcus' work. Indeed, one song is actually named after a follower of David Koresh. This would be track number two, Amo Bishop Roden. Packaged in an outer sleeve with an art-bearing inner sleeve, the vinyl edition was pressed with a sky-blue color rather than the cliche Carbon Black. This is a fitting color for the nature of their work.
