Hexagon Sun is the artistic collective which exists around Boards of Canada, as well as the name of their studio.

The collective includes both Mike and Marcus Sandison.
- They produce work in many mediums, primarily audio and video, as mentioned in interviews.
- These tend to be exhibited at RedMoon parties.
- Peter Iain Campbell and Goderich are presumably members.
"Turquoise Hexagon Sun" on Music has the Right to Children is an obvious reference to the collective.

Membership:
- Christopher Horne may be an ex-member.
- Frazer Clarke may be a member, or an ex-member.
- Membership may be a somewhat loose concept.
Live Recordings:
The Warp10 bootleg was recorded by a member.
- The somewhat constant background voice is similar in accent and intonation to that on Turquoise Hexagon Sun.
