Like most labels, Warp Records has produced a variety of materials to promote and advertise Boards of Canada's releases. As is commonly the case for promotional items, few (if any) of these items were ever officially offered for sale, with many targeted directly to retail commercial channels, making obtaining them difficult. Those interested, though, may be able to find these items on internet auction sites from time to time.
No official posters have ever been offered for sale; however, posters have been created for each new release, primarily for display in records stores and in street advertising in major cities. Each poster contains a larger version of the release's cover art.
A "very rare" metallic poster for Music Has the Right to Children was given away as a prize in the 2002 WATMM video contest; no other copies of this item are known to exist.
A variety of promotional stickers have been created to promote each new album. These were normally thrown in with shipments ordered from Warp, especially pre-orders of BoC albums. As is the practice with Warp freebies, the distribution process is rather random, with some fans receiving multiple stickers per order while a few unlucky fans got none at all.
